The more a person continues down this path, the more they continue to overindulge, the worse it gets for them. A person needs to have self discipline in order to succeed in anything that they do. They need to be able to set goals and then take action towards those goals if they plan to be successful. When a person is embarking on a weight loss program, they should be looking at all of this as well as their entire mental picture.
Surround yourself with the positive reinforcements that you need and avoid any negative behavior that will lead you towards eating too much. This includes the things that you may have done that led you to be overweight such as lying on the sofa all of the time or spending all day in front of the computer. Be sure to get proper exercise as well as eat the foods that will help you lose and you will get to where you need to be.
