Originally all foods were grown organically or locally, grown by the consumers themselves, or grown close to consumers. The foods were grown and prepared without pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilizers (vs natural fertilizers), hormones, or irradiation; in other words, they were unrefined, whole, or minimally processed.

Presently our food is not only deficient in nutrients, but is also full of pollutants and farming chemicals. Pesticides, which have been shown to cause cancer, liver, kidney and blood diseases, create extra work for the immune system. They build up in tissue, resulting in a weakened immune system, and consequently allow other carcinogens and pathogens to filter into the body and affect our health and cause us to age prematurely. Organic certification is the public’s assurance that products have been grown and handled according to strict procedures and without toxic chemicals.

Aside from being a good natural beauty remedies tip that will give your body and skin the pure nutrients they require to remain young, eating organic will provide you with intangible benefits. Have you ever tried a tomato ...
... or banana grown organically or locally. Perhaps you are old enough to remember the smell and taste of a strawberry as it should smell. You can join those people worldwide who have rediscovered or are rediscovering the benefits of buying organic and/or local food. Organic and/or local food is fresher than anything in the supermarket - it is tastier and more nutritious - try it and you will taste the difference - try it and you will live the difference.

However, be careful; remember that the meaning of the term “organic” is slowly being diluted from its original definition, or the meaning you may believe it has.

USDA certified "100% organic" is used to indicate products that have been grown or made entirely with certified organic ingredients and methods," and USDA certified "Organic" is used for products with 95% organic ingredients; both may display the USDA organic seal.
Thus, when buying with natural beauty remedies in mind, you should buy ONLY USDA certified "Organic"
