India is a very big country with a big population, and the government finds it hard to provide for all the needs of the people so the NGOs are really playing a crucial role. A typical India NGO works with the poor in the slums and rural areas where their help is really crucial. Most of these NGOs rely on donor funding to finance the various projects that they are involved in. Raising enough money for welfare projects is not easy for any India NGO, and they try all means to make this happen.
