S-cloud Could Be Launched By Samsung On May 3

It has been reported by some websites that Samsung is ready to launch a cloud-based service named S-Cloud. This service will allow the users to store movies, music, images as well other content remotely, which they will be able to access anytime on several Samsung gadgets such as Samsung televisions, laptops, tablets and smartphones. As per Korean newspaper Maeil Business, the “S-Cloud” service will be launched with Galaxy III at an event to be held in London on May 3 2012. Korean tech-site MK also reported the same.

The full details about this are not available at his moment. But, according to the reports, this service will be identical to iCloud and there will be no limitation on the type of content which you will upload. It will also be available with a store which will offer a free and paid content which will include popular television shows, films and music. It is being supposed that the storage space will exceed the 5 GB offered by Apple for free. But, the exact quantity is not clear, as there is no mention of paid plans.

Members of the press were invited by Samsung earlier this week to launch event in London. It has not been official announced by Samsung that the Galaxy S2 replacement will be launched in the event.
