How To Pack Your Luggage Wisely On Your Next Vacation
The black cloud of the vacation experience now hovers over you. It doesn’t have anything to do with waiting for hours in line just to complete your numerous travel documents. The greatest travel obstacle you face right now is how to pack.
All good advice givers will tell you to pack everything you need. This advice proves solid unless you don’t know how to pack. A lot of people get really confused about how to pack appropriately for the place that they’re going to and the length of time they will be out. Here are some easy steps for organizing your luggage so that you can have a wrinkle-free vacation.
Distribute weight practically. Place your heavier items at the bottom of the luggage. This includes shoes (in shoe bags, of course), pants, and jackets. Other pieces of clothing should go to the top. You also need to roll your clothes like a mat instead of folding them. This maximizes limited space while minimizing creases on your clothes. You can do this on lighter clothing like cotton shirts, jeans, and khakis. Roll smaller clothing items like socks as well, and use them to fill in the gaps.
Pack extra ...
... batteries for your camera. While you can purchase new batteries on some islands, it can be quite frustrating to be in a stunning remote location and not be able to take some shots. It would be a good idea to bring chargers for the camera and other electronic devices as well.
Bring the appropriate bag. If you plan to do a lot of walking, bring a backpack.Otherwise, bring a wheelie bag. However, a light-weight wheelie bag like the BRX built by the Briggs & Riley luggage company may prove advantageous in both situations because large backpacks may cause you chronic back spasms. Perhaps you should save your energy for the adventure activities and let your bag roll.
Pack items necessary for any activities you plan to participate in. This may include swimsuits, snorkeling gear, running apparel, and the like. Include at least two swimsuits in your Briggs & Riley luggage if you plan to spend most of your time on the beach. You do not want to waste any time searching for a new suit, especially if you will have a hard time finding the right fit.
Whatever type of vacation you’re planning, whether it’s sunbathing in Hawaii or sightseeing across Europe, there’s a Briggs luggage out there that’s best suited for your travel. For more tips on packing your luggages, please visit wikihow.com/Pack-for-a-Trip.
