Obesity has reached endemic proportions in several countries across the world. The fruit is also believed to be a key ingredient in weight loss products.

Lemon: Lemon and honey mixed with warm water are known to burn fat and help in reducing weight. The acidic content in lemon is known to regulate metabolism and sugar absorption. In fact, even a low amount of lemon when added to the diet, goes a long way in inhibiting sugar absorption in the body.

Kiwi: The humble kiwi fruit is known to contain high vitamin C in high amounts. It is also very rich in fiber. Needless to say, fiber helps in keeping a person feel full for a longer period. The fruit is extremely low in calories and hence easy to burn off.

These are just some of the fruits and vegetables that help in reducing weight. When eating these fruits and vegetables, make sure that you eat them with their skin on.
