In order to get your lover back, it is important that you are aware of what you must not do and what you should do. This is important as doing certain things and not doing certain things can determine whether you can get your lover back. There are various ways to get your ex back.

Perhaps, the most important thing that you must not do is to pester your lover like calling him/her several times per day. This only serve to drive him/her further away and it definitely don't works.

In fact, if you have already done that, you will want to put a halt to all these action. Here is what you will want to do instead.

Send him/her a note. The note should consist of the following content.

1) Tell him/her that you fully agree with his/her reason for suggesting a break up. I know it seems strange or maybe a bit counter intuitive to you. But it does work for certain reason. 3) Tell him/her that you have something very interesting going on in your life and you would really like to share the details with your lover. However, you understand that both you and your lover need to have sometime to think things through and to calm down. Therefore, it is best not to meet up for this short period of time.

Depending on the situation, two weeks to a month should be a good length of time for both of you to think things through.

4) Tell him/her that perhaps both of you can meet up after this cooling down
period and will then share with him/her what is happening to you during
this period.

If your lover has not been responding to you, sending him/her a short note like this may elicit a positive response. Sometimes, whether you can get back your lover or not is just a matter of knowing what are the right things to do and what are the wrong things that you must avoid doing.
