There are several structures obtained under equity release mortgages like lifetime mortgage, home reversion plan, home income plan, and shared appreciation mortgage. Mainly two types of equity release plan are being introduced by UK – life mortgage and reversion plan. Both of these plans now fall under Financial Services Authority (FSA). Hence, above schemes are worth opting.
