There has long been an argument that India doesn’t have the infrastructure to support supercars, however looking at the number of supercars in India today – along with recent moves by all the big players in the market, makes this thought slightly irrelevant!

The last 12 months have seen an influx of some of the biggest names in the supercar industry, into the country: Koenigsegg, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Maserati, are all now available in India . In addition, the new F1 track, is a critical development in terms of infrastructure, and has helped augment the demand for super cars in India.

This recent influx of supercars in India can be attributed to the evolution of the Indian consumer, no longer are the HNI’s satisfied with showing off their affluence with jewels and lavish parties, now they want to make a statement but also own something that gives them a visible value. Indians have long been fascinated by cars, so what better way to make a statement than buying a super car……the loudest, sportiest, most powerful the better!
