During our week’s stay in Northern Cyprus we had the pleasure of meeting one of my (because, Benny never saw him) child hood friends there. His name was Roger – Roger Danny. It was after a gap of some twenty years that we were meeting. Benny and I were just passing by through the busy market area of the Famagusta one day when he himself called me from behind. When I looked back there I saw him. Tall, handsome, wearing an unusually long Turkish cap (slightly slant). I was amazed because I was not expecting him there.

Talking with him I came to know of his life more and finally got an offer from him to attend his marriage (The man who loved to single all the time was getting married finally). He was marrying a Turkish girl. This is how I was able to get to know more about the Northern Cyprus weddings. I must tell you that the marriages are bit differently performed here in North Cyprus (I do not have more words to describe this so just please, ignore this flaw here).
