Brevard Zoo houses over 550 animals consisting of over 165 kinds of species. These animals belong to different habitations including North America, South America, Asia, Africa and Australia. Established in 1994 in a 56 acre land, the Brevard Zoo is one of the most advanced animal habitats in Florida.

The mother carries her baby on her back for one year till it grows and develops confidence to go alone.
