Moisten your bedroom air with a humidifier. Dry air inflames the membranes in your throat and your nose. Also to be considerd is the quality of air in your bedroom. You can use an air filter to get rid of mites, dust, dead skin cells or other fungal pathogens present in the surrounding air. The afore-mentioned are the major causes of mucus production which in turn blocks your airway.

Obey the law of gravity. When you sleep on your back, it is highly likely that your tongue and soft tissues will drop and block you airway. It is thus advisable to sleep on your side.

It might look like a long journey but these steps, followed to the letter are your best bet of alleviating your snoring problem.
