The world is extensions crazy at the moment! All celebrities use them, for added volume or length, in between films, for a new look, for a quick fringe, whatever quick change, extensions are the way forward. Achieving styles or instant new looks is impossible without the use of extensions.

The pricier fibres can be heat styled, which means you can style them, but it still doesn’t feel like real hair, which can be awful when you will also feel it around your neck and shoulders. Heat style-able fibres… for about £60 you can get a full head of synthetic fibres, which can be heat styled up to 150c. Remember not to put high-heat ceramic plates on them or they will melt! Only use heat adjustable straighteners. The last issue is that synthetic extensions can never be coloured, so you might struggle to get a perfect match. So as long as you know you can’t colour, or use high heat, and accept that they won’t feel like lovely, soft hair, then synthetics can be OK, but given that you have to spend £50-60 on them if you want to heat style, you may as well spend a little more and get some human hair extensions.
