Japanese Green Tea is such a widespread and loved beverage in Japan and the world that it is mostly referred as “tea” only, with the words Japanese and Green being dropped due to its ubiquitous presence. This drink has become so central to the Japanese food culture that it is used as the most important element during tea ceremony. This brew can be served at any time of the day without any restrictions and is consumed in cups without handles and the most correct way of drinking it is by supporting the cup from underneath by one hand and using the other hand to drink it. Also, this is minus all the cream and sugar, living up to its name i.e. Japanese Green Tea.

Initially, this was brought to Japan from China by Eisai Myoan, a Japanese Buddhist priest. Japanese Green Tea has variations in price and quality depending upon the part of plant they are extracted from and the method of their processing. The flavor of the Japanese Green Tea is more pronounced due to the fact that it is mixed with hot water after the tea leaves are grinded to powder. This is being used in various foods including noodles, ice creams etc. ...
... It has become a healthy habit among Japanese people as Japanese Green Tea is rich in Vitamin C and works well alongside meals too.

Various varieties of Japanese Green Tea are Gyokuro, Kabusecha, Bancha, Kamairicha, Tamaryokucha, Sencha, Matcha, Aracha etc.

Matcha Green Tea is a finely powdered green tea which along with being a drink is also used in modern food as noodles, wagashi etc. This tea is formed by roasting and powdering and then extracting the tea by adding hot water using salt. At the time of cutting, the plant is shaded from direct sunlight which prevents further growth and this in turn prompts the production of amino acids which supersedes the flavor in Matcha Green Tea. There are two particular ways of preparing Matcha Green Tea viz. thick and thin. The main difference between these two is the amount of match that is mixed with hot water. The health benefits of Matcha Green Tea have been utilized in various food products around the world. The benefits of Matcha are above bagged green tea as in the former case the whole tea leaf is taken in which is not the case with the latter. The presence of antioxidants, chlorophyll etc. makes it score real high on the health quotient. Isn’t that what going green is all about?

Green Tea has been popular in Western cultures for many years, but this elixir is beginning to appeal to more people for many reasons. They produce many products as Japanese Powdered Tea, Matcha Green Tea Powder etc. for more: - http://aoitea.com
