Durshet Forest Lodge
Durshet Forest Lodge is one of the resorts near Pune. It is a sprawling 42-acre property close to the River Amba, which is about 13 km from the industrial town of Khopoli. Pune is about 100 km from the resort, and the driving time is about 1.5 hours. Durshet Forest Lodge offers 27 AC and non-AC rooms, 4 bunkhouses and 8 tents by way of accommodation. It is a popular destination for school picnics, family outings as well as corporate team programs.
The Lodge has indoor/outdoor recreation areas, a dining hall, a swimming pool and lush gardens. Besides, the natural forest, in the midst of which it is located, is replete with teak trees, oaks and flame-of-the-forests. During monsoons, a natural waterfall suddenly appears in the nearby hills.

Paradise Country is a resort spread over 15 acres of land in Panshet about 50 km from Pune. The resort is a quiet retreat away from the bustle and pollution of Pune. Paradise Country offers 8 “concept cottages” with a total capacity of around 50 people. One of the cottages, the Kerala cottage, is actually an 80-year old ancestral home transported from Kerala. There are modern studio cottages as well as log cabins with views of Panshet and Varasgaon dams.
