If you are in business and your business is up and running then you obviously know about the T1 and T3 lines which are the latest in information technology. These are the two most common types of leased lines. They both operate with either fiber optic cables or copper lines and are classified as reserved circuit systems. Most companies and other organizations prefer to rent or lease these connections for a certain amount of money per month or per year depending on their operations. This is because they can be used to connect several remote offices over a private and exclusive network.

What exactly is a T3 LINE?

A T3 line is actually a group of twenty eight T1 lines each of which works at a speed of 1.544 megabits per second. They are also sometimes referred to as DS3 lines. These types of lines are referred to as dedicated connections because they provide an exclusive way for companies to connect to the internet at amazingly high speeds. The speed at which the private connection operates is often varied depending especially on how many users are connected to it at one time.

So why should ...
... you seriously consider letting go of your bonded T1 and getting yourself a T3 line instead? It is simple really. A DS3 or T3 connection as it is most popularly referred to will give you speeds which are 28 times faster than what a T1 offers. A proper T3 connection gives you 45 megabits per second and this is enough to service several internet providers. Companies with one thousand employees or less can efficiently use a T3 connection. If you intend to use the connection for minor operations then you will have an even greater advantage. You will be able to have uninterrupted video conferences, do faster data backup and recovery and have VOIP too.

How to get access to T3 connection services

If you have done your calculations and discovered that bonded T1 services just do not work anymore, it is about time you moved on to the next big thing; the DS3 or the T3 lines. Getting information about T3 is very easy. All you have to do is find a credible website that can give you the information you need. Most of these sites will offer you a free quote on the DS3 bandwidth that will work best for the kind of business you want. You are also like to find a list that shows DS3 coverage in every state.
