Bank Exams- Profiles And Eligibility Requirement

"Indian banking industry is growing exponentially, every private and nationalized bank is looking for more branches, more customers and finally aim to capture maximum banking market of India. To meet all its requirement banks are recruiting number of employees for meeting their demands. There are many profiles and many departments in every bank. In this article you will find information about upcoming bank exams looking for recruiting new candidates and what are the different profiles in which a candidate has to work in a bank.
To become a specialist officer as per general qualification required by various banks, a candidate must have PG – post graduate degree in any discipline. While to become a probationary officer the candidate must pass his graduate and post graduate from any recognize university. Apart from that the candidate must have a valid score in the IBPS entrance exam. There are 19 nationalize banks which are accepting IPBS score in their selection process. Other bank which are not accepting IPBS score are conducting their own entrance exam for selection.

... have a valid IPBS score along with a degree from any recognized university. To become officer professional degrees like MBA (masters in business administration), LLB and CA are required. Generally candidate with CA, ICWA are applied for the post of senior executive, branch manager, and other higher and middle level jobs. However in some banks candidates who don’t have any graduation degree can also apply for clerical post.
It entirely depends on bank governance who decides about eligibility criterion and number of post and selection process. Each bank has its own selection panel. Generally a candidate has to pass through three phases during the selection process. The written exam, the group discussion and finally a personal interview round.
In written exam the candidate is judged on the subjects of reasoning, maths, data interpretation, English and general awareness. The candidates who clear written exam cut off marks are further called for group discussion round and personal interview round. Candidate’s previous academic records and other requirements must match in order to qualify. If the candidate is fails to meet all the eligibility condition, like academic requirement, age limit and personal identification. Then he/she will not be finally selected for the given exam irrespective of his performance during his/her selection process.
