CERT will help to reduce the energy demand, fuel poverty, and secure jobs in the energy efficiency industry. The faster homeowners are able to increase the amount of insulation in the walls and lofts of their homes, the faster the savings will be evident. This initiative will be on top of the CESP (Community Energy Savings Programme) which will target low income and vulnerable households in order to increase energy and lower fuel bills. There have been no talks about Green Deal quotes but the scheme sure looks promising and will be a win/win situation for all involved.
