What You Must Check Before Buying Reach In Coolers
Every one of us visits departmental stores, wine and liquor stores and grocery stores for buying our day to day edible necessities. You must have noticed that most of the edibles like milk, chocolates, frozen fruits, juices, sparkling drinks, butter, ice creams and beers, that are supposed to be stored under constant temperatures, are kept behind the chilling doors. These chilling doors are actually ‘reach in coolers’, especially designed for protecting these products from getting decayed. In this article, I would like to mention some very informative points about these coolers that I extracted from an interview.
Unlike refrigerators, that work with the freezer generated cold air; these reach in coolers work in completely different formula. These coolers work on the cold temperature produced by the blowing of number of fans and condensers. In reach in coolers, these fans are programmed automatically to turn on and off, and this is what keeps the temperature constant.
What you should check before buying a reach in cooler?
Do check the quality of thermostats and condenser: The second important element ...
... of these coolers is thermostats which assures that temperature level of a cooler and never let temperature crash. In case the temperature exceeds the value fixed by thermostats, the condenser brings it down and assures the consistency of temperature. That is why, before buying reach in coolers one must check the basis of thermostats and condenser.
Do not forget to check the cooler for extra defrost cycle: Before buying a reach in cooler, do check that whether that cooler is equipped with an extra defrost cycle or not? This extra defrost cycle never lets condenser to hit the bottom line of lowest temperature under any circumstance and assures the optimal temperature. This extra defrost cycle is an integral, ingenious and useful part of the cooler.
Inspect the Styrofoam insulation: you are not supposed to turn a blind eye toward the most important thing, the Styrofoam insulation that keeps the outer temperature to disrupt the inner temperature. This is the thin layer that protects food and keeps it healthy and safe.
Do check EISA standards before buying reach in coolers: before buying a cooler, keep a close eye on EISA (Energy Independence and Security Act, 2007) standards that were introduced on January 1st 2009. Some standards about doors, lighting, insulation, motors and glass were brought in by federal government.
Buying reach in coolers is a wise decision to take, but buyers must keep the above mentioned points in mind before making a deal . For more info visit http://www.marcrefrigeration.com/
