Saturday – time for relaxing, outing, shopping, etc. The time of finding enjoyment in shopping is no more. Nowadays who can forget watching Scooby Doo! Mystery Incorporated on Saturday mornings? After five days of tiring work there comes the pleasurable weekends, the fun time to watch Scooby Doo! Mystery Incorporated. It’s of great fun watching Scooby Doo every weekend in Dish HD TV.

No matter, how old you are, you will be just enthralled by Scooby’s activities throughout the show. Scooby Doo, the long running cartoon show was from William Hanna and Joseph Barbera which started as “Scooby – Doo, Where Are You?” in the year 1969. Fred, a character in the show is the main lead accompanied with Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo. The show features comedy, adventure, live actions in the most entertaining manner. The way the mysteries are dealt in the show is enjoyed by not only kids also the senior citizens. To say, Scooby Doo is one of the favorite cartoon shows for all age groups.

Do you know Scooby-Doo the best, but unless you are a die-hard fan of the show, there are chances that you are not aware ...
... of half of the movies. You wouldn’t have seen most of the shows telecasted in the TV. Whatever, the series has been through more than 42 successful years with millions of fans throughout the world. I like many others, love watching Scooby Doo and lucky for me that, my mum allows me to watch the show.

You know the first version of Scooby Doo was Mysteries Five with Geoff, Mike, Kelly, Linda, W.W., and their dog Too Much. While the show was reviewed, the characters of Geoff and Mike were merged to Fred with Kelly, Linda and W.W. renamed to Daphne, Velma and Shaggy. The show was named – Who’s S-S-Scared?

The creative work of the character designer Iwao Takamoto brought the show into lights. He designed Too Much with a sloped back, double chin, and overly bowed legs, making him look much alike to the bread of Great Dane. The creators made the show funnier focusing more on Shaggy and Too Much. While listening to song by Frank Sinatra – “Strangers in the Night”, the CBS executive was hit by the singer’s scatting “doo-be-doo-doo-doo.” Thus Scooby Doo was created and title was changed to Scooby Doo – Where are you? The idea of Scooby Doo wasn’t original and the episodes at the starting were based on the radio show - I Love Mystery and the Sitcom – Dobie Gillis. Of course, Dobie Gills is also assumed to be similar to be the book series - Famous Five. You can say many relations like the characters in Scooby Doo is directly related to Dobie Gillis like Fred with Dobie, Velma with Zelda, Daphne with Thalia and Shaggy with Maynard.

Whatever it is, nobody can ignore the fact that Scooby Doo’s influenced Hanna-Barbera cartoons like Josie and the Pussycats and The Funky Phantom. Yes, indeed the recent version of the show, Scooby doo! Mystery Incorporated is unique that contains its own mystery. This series had the characters exploring romantic feels for one another. No matter that it didn’t count for the regular story line as it is considered to be a reboot to the other shows.

Are you also a fan of Scooby Doo? If so, which is favorite series? For me, I would say the original series and the recent one of Scooby Doo! Mystery Incorporated. I could never stand Scrappy Doo series with only Shaggy and Scooby. Though I didn’t like the Scrappy episodes, I had taken a billion episodes over the live action movie. Of course Scrappy Doo has its own style but the boring part was that the series comprised one half hour-long story and change to three seven minutes long adventures.
