Srilanka the island country lies in the Indian Ocean and is a desirable beech destination for the tourists and the visitors. It is a tropical paradise and offers the tourists with mighty mountains, varied landscape and tropical forest. Srilanka also known as the “Pearl of the Orient” looks like a tear drop on the Indian map. As it is an island country it has many golden and pristine beaches which attract many tourists from across the world. Its precious gem mines, the undulating hills with tea gardens, the rich history and the cultural heritage makes it a perfect gateway to spend holidays in the midst of the blue water.

Srilanka located in India’s south coast is the one of the most preferred place to spend holidays. It is well known for its stunning beaches, monuments, art galleries, and museums that attract thousands of tourists from near and far away places. Kandy tourism offers many exciting things for the tourist to enjoy and spend their holidays in a very special way. Kandy the city in Srilanka is mainly famous for its temple which contains the tooth of Lord Buddha. Every year this temple hosts a procession called Kandy Perahera in the month of July or August, it consists of 50 elephants, numerous dancers and drummers. Tourists see it with great interest and find this festival interesting and eye catching. Kandy is also called the cultural capital of Srilanka. This place is also the centre of art and crafts and one can go for attractive shopping of handicrafts. This beautiful land can be visited at any time of the year but the best time to visit is during summers when the climate is cool and moderate.

Colombo the capital city of Srilanka is a land with vibrant hues and energetic people. It has many eye catching attractions in this land that lures the tourists and the visitors. Colombo Tourism offers many things for the tourists to see and do. This land is located in the east-west coast of Srilanka and offers attractions such as ancient temples, historical monuments and museums, architectural wonders, modern shopping, entertainment plazas many other fascinating places. Colombo national museum is the largest preserver of antiques, ancient manuscripts and the furniture. It also offers wide range of activities for the tourists like playing golf, meditation, swimming, canoeing, kayaking or watching movies. It is the financial centre of Srilanka and is crammed with colonial buildings, shopping malls, bazaars and hotels with all modern facilities.
