The way in which you organise your garden can make a huge difference to how much use you actually get out of it. It is extremely easy to consider only the aesthetics of your garden when arranging it, but by taking the time to consider the more practical applications of your garden, you may well find that you get far more use out of it.

It is not uncommon for many people to spend hours every week tending to their gardens, but no time at all actually enjoying it. This is often because they do not have the right garden furniture or the right lay out to ensure that sitting out in the garden is rewarding.

The first thing to do is to consider how you might wish to use your garden. The back garden should be seen as an extra room as opposed to simply something pretty to look at and, as such, by deciding whether you wish to use it as a place to work, a place to relax or even a place to eat (or all of the above), you have a far better chance of making the most of it.

Make sure that the garden furniture you choose is comfortable and able to be left outside all year round. Teak garden furniture is one great option since ...
... it is has enough oil in it to sustain the elements, and is comfortable, practical and attractive all at the same time.

Once you have the right teak garden furniture, you then need to ensure that you create the right patio area in a place most appropriate for what you wish to do. For those looking for somewhere to eat, the patio should be kept close to the back door or conservatory and for those who want peace to work, furniture at the bottom of the garden may make more sense. Either way, think of your own needs and how you can best utilise your own garden before you decide how to organise it.
