Cold calling is a marketing approach where a salesman calls prospective customers without their request. It is called cold calling because no groundwork is laid for that call. However, other customers may show their interest towards your company turning the cold call into a warm one. Cold calling has always lacked popularity when it comes to sales because it can be one of the most stressful ways to market your product.

Other than explaining all the details of the job, be sure to talk about pay rates and bonus structures. Telemarketing is sales and sales people are very driven by reward systems. Make sure they know the job won't be easy but your incentives far outweigh any uncomfortable aspects.

Pay close attention to the person applying for the job and recognize what they could bring to your business. Analyze their actions. This will help you realize if the person is being sincere or if they are stretching the truth.

Basically, you want someone aggressive, hungry, and with no fear. Finding the best sales associate for cold calling is critical for a call center business. When you find the best cold caller, be sure to compensate them well. Cold calling isn't easy. If you are good at it, you should be handsomely rewarded.
