State Bank of India takes out several vacancies each year for recruitment of candidates to different posts. The specific eligibility criteria for each post are specified by the bank. The students can aspire for clerical posts as well as for the post of probationary officers under the SBI Recruitment. The job alerts are issued from the bank from time to time through newspapers and website. The age limit for appearance in the PO exams is between 21 years to 30 years. The SBI recruitment process consists of a exam which has questions based on English Language, Computers, General awareness, reasoning and data interpretation and data analysis. This is the first phase of the exam. The candidates who manage to successfully clear this exam are called on to appear in the second phase. The selection of candidates is made on the basis of marks obtained in both the phases. The percentage of marks required to clear the exam is forty percent in case of general category and 35% in case of SC/ST/PWD/Ex serviceman.

SBI clerk recruitment requires that the candidate must have passed intermediate with a minimum of 60% marks for general category and 55% for SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen. The age limit is set at 18 to 28 years. The exam has the same sections as for the PO exam.

As far as the NTPC recruitment is concerned, the candidates can apply for various posts which come out at different times. The maximum age limit is different for different posts of executive trainees. It is also different for other posts like that of graduate engineers. Only engineers are eligible to appear for the latter posts. The candidates can apply online. The eligible candidates are called for an All India Online Selection Test. Those who pass this test have to clear the group discussion and interview for final selection.

NTPC recruits engineers, diploma trainees and freshers through GATE. NTPC is a very big company. It contributes to about one third of the whole power generated in India. It demands highly talented and brilliant engineers to work with it.
