You have to also look into the type of Sydney pool tables that are available. There is no dearth of choices; however you need to have clarity on certain aspects such as the people who will be using the board, the amount of wear and tear it will be subjected to and many more. The billiard tables Sydney that you purchase should be strong enough to stay in place. There are tables that move when people lean on it during the course of the play. These tables are inferior quality ones that should be kept at bay. Instead opt for one that is made of solid wood, preferably oak, since it is highly durable and reliable. You can also consider purchasing made of woods such as cherry, maple, alder and mahogany.

The type of playing surface and its protection is also something that you need to give a thought to. Slate is the most recommended material for the playing surface. There are a few companies that use substandard materials such as pressboard which are sprayed with grey color to make it look like slate. This reduces the cost of the table, but it does not serve as a great platform for playing the game. There are three slabs of 1 inch slate weighing 200 pounds each that are used to make the best Sydney pool tables. Any billiard tables Sydney that does not have this type of playing surface is not worth buying for professional play.
