Form filling serves an important purpose; first it helps the website store personal details about the user and second it helps the user get acquainted with the websites usage policies. This is a great option that is supported by browsers mostly. It lets the user automatically log in without him having to type his password time and again. Most browsers also support the auto form fill option; this means that while filling an online form the browser would have saved common detail to be used the next time.
