They believe that shopping online takes away from the experience and makes it more virtual just like everything else these days. Online friends, online advertising, online dating and online shopping! Depending the way you look at it, this can be good, bad or even evil in the eyes of some people. Whatever your views there’s no doubt that online shopping is easier and takes less time.

Furniture, electronic goods, food, cosmetics …. etc. Realizing the sheer size of the market, many of these companies also sell curtains online and they spend a lot of money on their online presence. Having interviewed a few online stores, we found that most of the larger players in the market import their products directly from India and China. As a result, the competition in the curtaining industry is extremely fierce and it appears that businesses with a prominent internet presence and not many high street outlets are gaining the upper hand due to lower costs and overheads.

It’s hard to predict what will happen in the future. Can the high street survive the online onslaught? We shall wait and see.
