Bamboo Cotton Sheets Gave Me The Best Night's Sleep Of My Life

A few weeks ago, my wife and I were in Colorado visiting her cousin and we got to try bamboo cotton sheets for the first time. We were at their house for four days, enjoying the opportunity to stay in the guest room. The room was splendid, filled with novels to read, movies to watch, and a nice big bed with a soft mattress. But my overall favorite thing in the room was the bedding, as it was beautiful. I'd never experienced such a comfortable night's sleep and was filled with dismay when the time came to head back home.

When we did resume our ordinary lives, I couldn't stop thinking about how comfortable I had been in that bed. The bedding that we'd been using on our own bed just did not seem up to the task anymore. It seemed silly, but I had to make a choice and take my difficulty to my wife. She laughed to hear me being so obsessed with something so domestic, but she did agree that she too had missed the comfort we'd experienced on our trip.

Although, to be fair, I hadn't been exposed to bamboo cotton sheets prior to that trip. I didn't know if it was woven out of bamboo or if there was a variety ...
... of cotton that was merely called "bamboo." I was intensely curious and made the decision to go to the one place that might provide me some answers: the internet.

It did not take overly long to find the answers I needed. I understand that bamboo is being used frequently these days and is turning up in lots of different materials due to its green-friendly nature and its rapid growth. That convinced me that it would be a good idea to buy some of these sheets.

We made the order and some days afterward our bamboo bedding and bamboo towels were sent to us. I was pumped about my new purchase and wasted no energy in putting the new items on our bed. My wife still found this incredibly funny, but she didn't argue with me. As I sank deeply into dreamland a few hours later, I was certain that I was as comfortable as I had ever been. My feelings of glee were not long for the world, however, for I was required to be at work early the next day and my wife was deaf to my beggings to stay home from work.
