La Rioja is a province in Spain and is itself an autonomous region. The capital city of this region is Logrono. It is neither too big a city nor too small a city but it is an attractive one. The population of the city is around 150,000. As the region of La Rioja is very fertile, the city of Logrono is green. It is a neat and green city and the overall atmosphere in the city is refreshing. Logrono has a beautiful location as it is situated on the banks of the Iregua River.
