When you consider buying a Playa del Carmen condo, you may so excited about the prospect of living in Paradise, that you may not think to consider all the different features you could be enjoying. So, just for future buyers like you, we’ve put together a little check list of items you might want to look for.

Close to the Beach – Playa del Carmen’s beaches are beautiful; the sand is soft and white, and the water is warm and a bright turquoise. Many well-traveled vacationers swear by these beaches. At the same time, it’s not necessary to have a unit right on the beachfront. While prices for direct beachfront property is super in comparison to any place that even comes close to comparing with these beaches, even lower prices can be found just a comfortable walk away.


Gated Community – Playa del Carmen is very safe. Yet a gated community ensures the best of security, as well as reduced traffic and a quiet, private lifestyle.


Green Areas, Bike Trails – In your ...
... community, look for nice roads and boulevards, but also features like bike trails and green areas that you can enjoy as a part of an active, outdoor lifestyle. With year-round warm weather you will be using your bike much more often (if you like bikes!)


Pool, Lounge Area, Gym – While you live close to the nicest beaches in the world, it’s still nice to have a pool, lounge area and gym right in your complex for convenience.


Open-concept Design – In the condo unit itself, there’s no reason to settle for anything less than the best. Open-concept design, kitchen bars, large sliding doors, ample closet space, ceiling fans, air conditioners and many other features are not too much to ask for.


Nice Balconies – Again, the weather is nice and warm all year. If you have balcony, you will definitely use it, enjoying a coffee in the morning or a little snack in the evening, overlooking the complex pool and central area.

Excellent Prices – There’s no reason to blow your budget. Condos with all the features mentioned above can be found for as little $150,000 USD. Special deals can sometimes found for even less.

Review the list, and take some time to think carefully about anything else you would like to see in your Playa del Carmen condo. If you think of something not on the list, ask your agent if it’s something you can reasonably expect.
