When I Wanted To Spruce Up My Basement, The Basement Carpet I Found Really Made It Look Great!

If you need to have a nice basement, you should probably have basement carpet. For years I had been longing to finish our shabby basement and turn it into a luxurious multimedia room. For several years, our basement has been filled with dusty boxes of junk, broken furniture and my wife's old abandoned home gym equipment. I will admit that it is convenient to have a place to store all of our junk and not have to think about it, I still had the dream of being able to retreat down to the basement after a hard day at work and kick back with a drink and watch a football game.

For years, I had longed to make my dream come true, but every time I went down to our basement and saw the concrete floor and lack of walls, I was discouraged. The other issue was the money, or the lack of it, since we were definitely not in a very good financial position at that point in time.

I had a change of fortune one day, however, when I bought a lottery ticket at a little gas station on my way home from work one night. This was not the first time I had bought a lottery ticket on my way home, but I was overjoyed to have won. When ...
... I got home and told my wife she could hardly believe the wonderful news. It wasn't enough money to make us wealthy, but it was enough for us to be able to finish our basement and I realized that my dream could at last be a reality.

My wife wasn't exactly on board with the idea of using the money to build a multimedia room in the basement, but after a while, she caught the vision and decided that it would be nice to have. We payed someone to come in and do the framing and sheetrocking, while I searched for my new entertainment system, finally ordering one online. I longed for them to come with bated breath. Of course, I knew that we would need some basement carpet before putting all of the electronics down there, but I assumed that it would just be a matter of going into a flooring store and picking out something.

My wife had a different idea though, and she forced me to look at all kinds of carpets. When the store didn't carry what we wanted, we looked online and found our chosen carpet. We made the order and it came with just enough time for them to install it before my electronics showed up. My basement is now finally the luxurious multimedia room I had always dreamed about, and I am so happy.
