No-Fenol was developed to help parents of children with diets affected by fruits and vegetables that contain phenolic compounds. No-Fenol helps with the digestion of these foods without the side effects that some children experience. Some children have a hard time digesting these phenolic compounds and can have symptoms, such as red ears and cheeks or dark circles under their eyes. One reason why phenolic compounds may be troublesome in children is that the phenols have attached carbohydrate groups, which make it less likely to be in a metabolizable state. Normally the enzymes in No-fenol cleave off these carbohydrate groups, which then allow the phenol to be taken up into cells and metabolized. Polyphenolic compounds are now realized as important components of nutrition. Plant phenolic compounds are anti-carcinogenic and anti-mutagenic and their restriction from diet can deprive children of the protection they may need later in life to battle disease and environmental toxins. What Are Phenolic Compounds: All plants carry some degree of phenolic compounds with a structure ubiquitous in nature yet essential to many of life's processes. It is found that some children have difficulty in the processing of phenolic compounds, which may be present as behavioural problems and physical symptoms such as red ears and cheeks, and dark circles under the eyes a result of phenolic compounds becoming trapped in some part of a metabolic cycle, involved with various detoxification pathways. Restriction of these compounds from our diet can deprive children of the protection they may need later in life to battle disease and environmental toxins.

How Does No-Fenol Help: No-Fenol was developed in response to parents' request for a product that would allow their children to eat fruits and vegetables without the problems associated with polyphenolic compounds. No-Fenol successfully allows the addition of these foods to the diet without complications. The enzymes in No-Fenol remove the complex carbohydrate groups and promote oxidation of the phenol to a structure more favorable for processing by liver detoxification pathways. The use of No-Fenol with phenolic foods allows the children to obtain the health benefits of nutritious fruits and vegetables without the negative behavioural and physiological consequences that plague so many.

Composition: The composition of the enzyme supplement remains identical, irrespective of its type and form. Normally, the product is made by combining an enzyme blend along with xylanase, cerecalasetm, hemicellulase, beta-glucanase and phytase. Based on the form of the enzyme supplement, the weight of the enzyme blend differs slightly. No form of the product comes with any type of artificial flavors or chemicals and people belonging irrespective of age groups can consume the enzyme supplement without worrying about any harm or adverse side-effect.

Dosage: While ½ to 1 capsule or 1 to 2 chewable tablets usually can suffice for most meals many find satisfactory results with a once or twice per day dosing, indicating that optimal dosing may be dependent upon many factors. One can feel free to vary the dosage based on content and size of meal. For meals higher in phenols, higher doses of No-Fenol can be considered. For reasons of practicality, not more than 3 capsules need to be taken at one time.
