We all know that solar panels collect energy from sunlight and convert that power into energy that we can use in our homes.

Lets face it electricity bills are not getting any smaller, as consumers we have more gadgets and gizmos in our homes, and unplugging appliances, turning lights and gadgets off, switching to energy efficient light bulbs only reduces the electricity bill by a relatively small amount when compared to the huge increases which we are being faced with from our power companies. Hence to further reduce our household electricity bills it's certainly time to consider solar panels.

We all know that solar panels collect energy from sunlight and convert that power into energy that we can use in our homes. Solar panels are usually mounted on your roof, but if you have space they can also be mounted on the ground, but they must not be in the shade of trees or buildings. Solar panels produce DC (direct current) electricity this needs to be converted to usable AC (alternating current) electricity, which is done by an inverter. The energy generated by your solar panels is then used in your own home, and any ...
... electricity left over is fed into the grid, which you will then be paid for.

When you think about all the good solar energy can do, the list seems endless. However the initial set up may be the most difficult hurdle to overcome as clearly you will need to find a few thousand pounds to spend on solar panels in the first place, But after the initial outlay which you could recover in around 8 years you can sit back and enjoy cost effective energy. Solar energy is one of the cleanest forms of energy available to and can quickly make a significant saving on your monthly electricity bills and in the summer months your bill might disappear all together.

You don’t need to worry about cloudy or gloomy days solar panels will even generate some electricity on rainy days.
