It leaves the onlookers in awe, sometimes and it can be a very competitive sport and this can cause injuries so everyone needs that extra protection. The boarder needs to be careful while turning into a wave because it can be painful if he or she misses and lands face down on the water.

This is a sport that allows the performer to show off, whether it is for a girl or guy. This just heats up the watching crowd. For the ones with a lot of energy, it is a good way for them to burn it off. Boarders get all pumped up and it creates an adrenaline rush for them.
