While we on vacation in another locale, an incident required us to track down a dentist in Fairfax, Virginia. It was our annual trip that we take as a family and this year, we figured that we would travel to Washington, D.C.. It was a good trip and while we were strolling through the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, my wife, by a sheer stroke of luck, ran into her cousin, who she had not seen in years. It turned out that this cousin had recently moved to Fairfax and were visiting the Smithsonian before they got busy in their new lives.

They offered to us the invitation to swing by their home the next evening for a family meal. But sadly, while we were exiting, my daughter Marci stumbled on something and took a nose dive onto the patio.

When we lifted her up, we were horrified to see that her two front teeth had been broken by the fall. We stopped by at my wife's cousin's house and offered them our thanks as well for being there for us in a time of need and recommending the best dentist in Fairfax. Our drive back to the museums and monuments of Washington was free from grief or sadness and my daughter was perfectly happy the whole time. She did drool, and slurred her speech because of the numbing compound, but stated that there was no painful feelings at all. We are not citizens of Virginia, but if we were, I can assure you that my entire family would make use of that dentist.
