Blackberry Service Charges Likely Get Declined Soon

An analyst informed on Monday, that Research In Motion (RIM) has been asked to cut down the fees for the charge carriers for BlackBerry service for this year. The struggling smartphone company’s business model is likely to get cut into pillars. RIM has set up its own network infrastructure. This allows to feed all the data and coding to BlackBerry handsets through its cellular network. It has been reported that a Canadian company made earning of almost $ 1 billion from the services last quarter which is just one-fifth of its total sales.

Sameet Kanade, a Northern security analyst, commented that it was a slow move for RIM to get hold of the rising threat posed by companies permitting their employees to use their handsets for work. A note sent to clients informs that there will be a cut in rating on RIM stock to “sell” from “ speculative buy” . According to Kanade’s estimation, RIM would get around $ 5 a month on each subscriber. This will bring a fall below $ 2 per user by February 2013. His expectation shows that there will be a fall in service revenue by 48 percent within next two years. Toronto Stock Exchange showed the downfall of 2.8 percent at C$ 13.22 of the stock. Northen’s parent company who owns Jaguar Financial which has showed its agitation for the complete change at RIM which will include a break-up or sale. Many analysts predicted the downfall of the earning in within next 2 years.
