Plastic is the word which we are not just using the most but also listening the most these days. The measuring cups are basically made up of plastic again for the same reason, that it is inert and very light in weight. But also, other materials are used to make such cups which include metals, stainless steels and many more. The measuring cups are also being used at the petrol pump for adding the fixed amount of oil in the vehicles. It will be wrong to say that these are very accurate, because some amount of error is always found. But that error is very minute and negligible, so we can’t blame these usable items and hence they are widely used in the market.
