Experience the Music of Austin

There's a reason why Austin is called the "Live Music Capital of the World". With two hundred live music venues and nearly 2,000 musicians living in Austin, there is no shortage of entertainment in this city. Although Austin's 6th street has been a famous entertainment district since the 1970s with its many bars and nightclubs, there are a number of other districts which are notable for great live music, such as Market district, Red River, University of Texas and Downtown Austin. There are musical festivals galore in Austin and South by Southwest (SXSW), a music and film festival is probably the best of Austin conventions, along with Austin City Limits Music Festival.
