Even the Sears Tower dwarfs in comparison. When it comes to Chicago carpet, everyone knows the name of Empire. They have been around for a long time and advertise extensively through every media outlet there is. Their jingle changed slightly when area codes separated the suburbs from the Chicago area. Then it changed again when they decided to use an 800 number. Then it changed even again when they had to put the number 1 in front of the area code. The tune is the same, just a bit longer for the new additions.

People who buy Empire carpet are pleased with what they get. They get good quality carpeting. They come out to the house to measure and can come the next day for installation. You pay for the jingle. No matter how many times they have to change it. Each time ...
... they come out with a new commercial, you pay for that. Simply put, you pay more money for Empire than you do for other carpeting companies.
