The iPad 2 is about to complete one year anniversary in the coming month, and reports have already started floating that iPad 3 is about to launch in March, 2012. It says that the product has a retina screen showing display of 4 times more pixel just like the current model.
According to a Japanese site, iPad3 is under construction and is supposedly going to be launched in the first week of March. The device will be similar to iPad 2, having the same button configuration, camera positions and dock connector.
Let us have a glance at some of the key features that are expected to be included in the iPad 3:
Retina display and 3D features: The main thing is that it has a slightly thicker body and a new high-resolution of 2048 x 536 display. The new device would easily be compatible to iPad 2's Smart Cover. It might have Quad-core processor device as compared to the dual-core A5 chip in the iPad 2 model.
4G connectivity: It may release with 4G connectivity which is also known as "LTE" and offer connections up to 100Mbps, whereas in smartphones it is a serious battery drain.
Camera: Some resources ...
... suggest that there will be about 5MP or 8MP rear and HD front camera in iPad 3 but it will depend on the components' cost as the fruit company may try to keep the component costs at a lower cost.
Design: Apple is known to produce fabulous designs. The designs will at least have a huge screen, greater than 10 inches.
Siri: Siri is a voice command assistant from Apple, which gained attention after being integrated on iPhone 4S. Resources suggest that Apple has successfully tested Siri on iPad 3. And after a grand success of Siri on iPhone 4S, Siri for iPad 3 would be a good option. The improved version of Siri might also be visible in iPad 3.
Battery: Reports also suggest that iPad 3 is expected to have 1400 mah battery to support advanced features like retina display and powerful processor.
Wireless Charging: One of the revolutionary features expected is the facility of wireless charging. It will discard all the leads and cables used in charging the battery of the tablet.

Near field Communication Technology: With the help of this technology it is easier to make transactions, connect electronic devices and interchange digital content. And with this feature, exchanging data with other Apple devices will be a simple thing.
