Are you feeling strapped for cash, live from one paycheck to the other and like most people spend more cash than they need? Well then you are suffering from the symptoms of 'Unmanaged money syndrome'. By simple money management and a little creativity you can have more money more easily than you think.

Here are some simple ways to increase your cash flow and your savings.

You can get more money by doing something like this. Ask your company for a raise (that much wanted money), work extra at your job, and sell the items that you don't need in a garage sale or on eBay. Get the free unclaimed money.

To increase your savings you can do the following:

Create an automatic deposit to your savings account

Divert your raise into your savings account

Don't consider your savings account or emergency fund part of your spending money and keep it hidden

Empty your pocket change into a jar every night then bring your coin jar to the bank every month.

There is more to this too. You have to cut on your spending. Skip the coffee ...
... at the coffee shop every morning. Downgrade phone service plan so that you keep only what you need. Bring your own lunch to the office even if you do it two to three times a week. Call your cable company and cancel the extra services or agree to a better deal. Cancel subscriptions or memberships that you don't use (especially that gym membership). Call the insurance provider and ask for an updated quote and shop for a new insurance provider. Here are some tips that will cut on your spending as well as the extra weight. Drink plain water instead of soda at lunch and switch to store brand food items.

Making better financial decisions is also very important so that you have more cash to push you along. You should have the basic information regarding your financial status from time to time. Always know how much you have in the bank so that your accounts will never be overdrawn. Don't travel or go out of town until your finances are in order. Stop using credit cards which evidently create more debt. Make your payments on time and avoid damaging your credit and incurring late fees and penalties. Keep track of your accounts and assets otherwise they will end up as unclaimed money. If you follow these changes your financial situation will be more pleasing to look at and you will have more money in your hand.
