Every on e of us needs to take a vacation sometime or the other; however, it is very important to plan our vacations. There can be nothing worse than an unplanned vacation that could end in a disaster. How can we plan a perfect vacation? One would probably look up the yellow pages and locate a travel agent and go over to his place to check out the details and come back with a handful of brochures and a lot of promises..

My girlfriend and I were due to go on a much promised vacation for quite some time. The lovely lady wanted to go on a cruise to some exotic locations that we hardly identify on a map. The idea itself was thrilling and promising, however how to go about it? We needed to select the destination first and find the best cruise that would take us there. It sounded so complicated that I almost gave up. Maybe I could call a few travel agents or some of my friends and try to collect some information. There wasn’t much time at my disposal. After half a dozen calls, I’d got nowhere; people just didn’t seem to understand what I wanted. Most of the agents were trying to sell what they had and no one paid heed ...
... to what I really wanted. It was all so frustrating. Maybe the vacation idea was not good after all. Maybe we should think of something else to amuse ourselves. I was really depressed and desperate and at my wits end.

As a last resort I decided to call a good friend of mine and seek his advice. He assured me that everything was going to be fine and that he could have it organized in an hour’s time. To beat it all there was this fantastic offer if we were to book the tickets online itself that was too hard to resist. There is no doubt that Internet has changed our lives to an extent that is unimaginable. With the tickets booked sitting at home the anticipation and excitement was building up. My girlfriend was the happiest person at that moment as I could see it in her face. We were going to have an unforgettable vacation. I just could not believe that all this could be done without budging an inch from my seat and not running over to some travel agents office and waiting and listening to him ranting about some cruise.
