When Nature Fails, Plastic Prevails!

We might sound a little different when saying this, but this indeed stands good for weight loss surgeries in India. Obesity and weight management are a leading cause of disturbance in this country and more and more people are seen getting busy trying to bring down the flab content in their body. Call it societal influence, the effect of advertisements and movies, or the increasing concern towards being fit and healthy, everyone seems to be struggling and dwindling between overweight-ness and underweight-ness.
How to get the best body? The looming question, which is on everyone’s mind, is how an one get the right shape, just like their favourite stars. Some ask themselves, some ask the gym trainer; some go to internet searching for the right answer and others consult the bariatric surgeon hoping to find the right solution. However, not every one gets success. Gymming, physical training, types of exercises, dieting, crash dieting, food supplements and medical intervention are the various ways that people use in order to loose weight.
Going to the gym and other forms of physical training work best for a section ...
... of people, whereas, dieting and crash food supplements suit another group. There is no tried and tested way that works in the same manner for every group, as every individual’s body composition is different. Hence, when one goes for a particular kind of treatment procedure in order to cut down extra weight, it is important o look for the science behind that system. This what nutritionists and bariatric surgeons suggest.
There is no shortcut to loosing weight. It is a process that requires much effort and dedication and takes its own sweet time. In India, the tendency is towards quick remedies to obesity. Whereas, the fact is that the time taken to put on all the extra weight is directly proportional to the time that one would take in losing all of it completely. Some think that crash diets are the best and some eel by taking pills they can loose weight. But as much as these ways are unscientific, they also have their own side effects that may make life difficult for people in the long run.
There is another section of people who think bariatric surgeries are there answer to all the weighty issues. Whereas the fact is that these surgeries like laparoscopic gastric banding surgery, require a special type of diagnosis. Not everyone can go for a laparoscopic gastric banding surgery, unless they are above 45 kgs overweight or have a prescribed BMI that is more than what is normal. Therefore, thinking that one can easily go for bariatric surgery is wrong, and rather the impetus should be on food control from the beginning.
