When you start your computer then there is one clock which starts just like a timer which tells that from how much time the computer is on. This clock is called Windows uptime timer. In Microsoft’s Windows this feature is available. These are some tutorials to find out the uptime of your computer. If you keep your computer always-on then checking the uptime of the system is very importantso that you can find out from which time it is on. This is very useful if one runs the computer 24hours and all the 7 days of the week. This will tell about that from how many days over since last reboot of your computer.

Basically there are two ways to find out uptime of the system in the Microsoft’s Operating System Windows 7:

One of the very easy methods is by Using Windows Task manager Performance Tab. This is a very and very quick method for finding out the up time of the computer. This is a simple method that can be followed by any lay person who does not know any commands or anything else. First of all open the Task Manager. The Task Manager in the Microsoft Windows can be opened through just hitting Ctrl + Shift + Esc. ...
... You have to hit all the three keys together. On clicking it a new window which is called as Windows Task Manager opens. In this there are many tabs you have to select the Performance Tab. Here in this tab you can find out Up Time listed just under the System.

This can be done through the Third Party Software that is Uptime.exe

In this you have to just go for a command that is uptime. Uptime is a very simple line command which is developed for the users who want to check the uptime of the computer very quickly over the output console. Uptime.exe is more useful when you want to check uptime of the computer on a very regular routine. The Linux Terminal has the same feature inbuilt in the tools. So the developer developed such a small utility which can do the same work like it and at that time it was developed and used.
In this you just have to copy uptime.exe file into the C drive. Then start the Windows Command Prompt by typing CMD in Start Search and just hit Enter. Now type uptime and it will show you the details.
