Make Real Money Online By Knowing What Products Are Worth Your Time

What you consider “worth promoting” really depends on your skill level and how much money you want to make.

In many cases, a lot of professional marketers agree that it takes almost the same amount of time and energy to market high-ticket products, as it does to promote low-cost products.

The best way to tell what price points you should focus on, is to focus on yourself first.

How much do you want to make per year? Per hour?

Let’s say you wanted to make $50,000 per year by marketing your own ...
... products or selling someone else’s as an affiliate.

$50,000 per month, broken down to a monthly rate is $4,166.

If you hate math, don’t worry: the next part is where the fun begins...

So, $4,166 broken down to a daily basis is $138 per day.

That means if you are dedicated and can put in an average work day of 8 hours, you would need about $17 per hour to reach your goal.

But here’s the great thing:

Marketing online allows you to set up multiple streams of income. The more products you’re actively promoting, the more passive income you are able to generate.

The truth is, even if you’re not promoting the big “guru” level launches of $2,000+ products, the above goal is still very realistic.

Look at it this way:

Even if you are only promoting a $47 product for half the commission, you only need just under 6 sales to meet your goal!

Of course, all these numbers are just examples. They could end up being slightly lower or higher, again, depending on what your personal goals are.

Make Real Money Online By Creating The Best Offer

Have you ever watched a big product launch as it progressed?

If you’re on several e-mail lists, you may have received multiple messages promoting the very same product.

The question is, if all these different affiliates are promoting the same exact thing at the same exact time, how the heck is anyone making any money?

What makes someone buy from “person A”, as opposed to “person B” ?

In the end, it all comes down to the OFFER.

Try this:

Find a popular product and do a Google search for its names.

In the results, you’re going to see two things:

1. You’ll see what we mentioned above - many people sharing their reviews about the product.
2. A wide variety of different bonuses each of them are offering, as a way to motivate others to buy through THEIR affiliate links.

The bonus is their way of creating a great offer when they have no control over the pricing of the product itself.

It may sound like a lot of hard work, but creating your own product (or set of products) that you can use as bonuses for promotions is a great way to make real money online as an affiliate.

You don’t even need to whip up your own sales page or pay big bucks for a copywriter...

Something as simple as a quick-start guide or tip sheets on how to get the most out of the product could be simple bonuses.

You could look at the market a product targets, find what other problems they have and create mini reports that add extra value to the main product.

One other thought: if you’ve purchased the product, why not shoot a quick screen capture video that shows a walk through of the product or its member’s area?

Showing potential buyers exactly what to expect is a powerful way to “demonstrate” the product, and video is an engaging way to do so.

Most of the time, product owners won’t mind you doing this since you’re not actually giving up the goods. If you’re worried, you could always ask ahead of time.

Make Real Money Online By Creating Multiple Sources Of Income

I know we touched on this above, but I think it’s important enough to have its own spot in this article.

One of the most devastating mistakes anybody can make, is putting all their time and money into one source of income.

Imagine:

You are able to create small websites, rank them, and generate passive income through affiliate offers and perhaps Google’s adsense program.

Then, one day, Google changes its search algorithm and all your sites are wiped off of the first page.

Buh-bye income, hello frustration!
