In order to get people outside more, there has to be a good reason for them to do so. They have to feel that whatever they are going to get to do outside has merit, is fun, or will be worthwhile. One of the games that everyone can play and enjoy outside is the Cornhole game. This game is very easy to play both physically and intellectually, but it is also a lot of fun. This makes it popular with families in many areas of the country, and it also helps to bring the enjoyment of the game to people who might have previously not been aware of it. To play the Cornhole game, a person can buy a set or he or she can build a set. Basic woodworking tools and skills are all that are needed for a person to make his or her own Cornhole board, and the bags can be made from simple materials with basic sewing skills. The people who are playing the game stand a specific distance from the board, and they throw the bags at the board. Naturally, the goal is to get the bags to go through the hole, thereby scoring valuable points. If a person cannot get a bag through the hole but the bag lands on the board and remains there without falling off, points are also scored. However, this is not worth as much as actually getting the bag through the hole. The first person or team to reach twenty one points is declared the winner.
