There is a logical myth among people about alcohol. Especially about the effects of alcohol. When many people think about the effects of alcohol, they think about the physical effects of alcohol on the body, such as liver damage. But there are many psychological effects of alcohol on the body and mind which you might not have thought of.

Frankly, in many cases, the psychological effects of alcohol are much more damaging and painful to you than the effects that you already know about. Some are life threatening and may also lead to psychological damages. Let us check on some of the damages that alcohol causes.

This slowing down of the brain’s circuitry decrease the thinking and reasoning abilities. For this reason, when you are intoxicated, you may be willing to do and say things you would not usually do or say if you were thinking clearly.

Once you become dependent on alcohol you will start to become obsessed with drinking.
