When people talk about endodontics they usually link to this particular treatment to a painful experience, this used to be the case before technology stepped in, the most common procedure done in endodontics is the root canal. Even though the root of the procedure is relatively painless when done properly most people will usually refer to it according to its general stereotype which is but one of extremely painful operation. Regardless of the many stereotypes this operation may be tagged with it is a necessary step in order to prevent serious infections and future complications which may become truly painful.
