There are many different types of equipment available that can fulfil your emergency lighting requirements. The variety is actually astounding and the advancement in technology has only assisted in furthering the cause. Emergency vehicle lights prove to be extremely important attracting the attention of other motorists on the road and also proving effective in conveying a warning or danger signal. Whether it is a trailer, tractor, RV or a police vehicle, lighting equipment for emergencies can always come handy. What is incredible to note is that powerful and efficient emergency vehicle lights come in all shapes and sizes. The dash lights, deck lights and visor lights for example are extremely compact and yet, they are powerful enough to send across an easily perceivable warning signal.

When it comes to emergency lighting, nothing beats the full length light bars which are designed for law enforcement personnel carriers, fire engines, medical emergency vehicles and trailers. Heavy equipment carriers too could use these longer light bars to alert other motorists to maintain safe distance. Incredibly, the lighting equipment ...
... is designed to be sleek, with a low profile. Slim emergency lights are not only concealable easily but can also be installed in any corner of the vehicle at odd intersection angles too. You would also come across strobes which are used to effectively enhance the head lights, tail lights and turn lights of vehicles. The strobes are mounted inside, over or below the composite lights. Wide angle beams are achieved through these lights proving critical especially on darker highways.

High performance, emergency lighting equipment of all types are similar in their energy efficiency largely through their use of 1W, 2W or 5W LEDs which provide much greater luminosity than other lighting alternatives. They are also similar in terms of their design, with a chassis that is thermally efficient and yet resistant to vibration and moisture. Durable polymers, polycarbonate, thermally efficient plastics, nylon or die cast aluminium are some of the materials used in the construction of the chassis or frame that protects the emergency lights. The encapsulation is further strengthened with polycarbonate Lexan domes that widen the beam angle while also preventing moisture from getting in. Water sealed lighting equipment is useful during bad weather conditions. The lights also come with compression gaskets and rubber grommets for additional resilience.

Advanced emergency lighting equipment such as light bars, strobes, dash and deck lights can all be mounted at different angles and at different heights. Bail brackets, swivel brackets, mounting clamps and suction cups are used depending upon the way in which the emergency lighting has to be mounted. The flexibility in height and orientation of the emergency lights allows you to derive maximum output across the largest possible angle. There are beacons and gyratory strobes which provide 360-degree lighting by rotating around an axis. Other types of emergency lights include traffic advisor panels useful to redirect traffic to clear jams, and grille lights which are usually installed close to the front grille or bumper of the vehicle.
