I along with my family decided to visit Shimla. We took a car to reach there and on the way I felt I was going into the lap of Mother Nature who was embracing me with her arms. The mountains were bathing in the Sun and the trees were talking to heaven Gods. There was greenery everywhere.
We sat on the mall before reaching the hotel we had booked to keep our baggage. After travelling so long we were very tired, so we relaxed in our rooms and in the evening visited the Mall again. We went to the ridge after that, nights were beautiful at the ridge. But all of a sudden it started raining, so we had to come back early. The rain continued till morning and made the weather even more pleasant. Next morning we did some shopping and then went to Jakhoo Hill, the highest point in Shimla. It is a mountain peak surrounded by tall trees. There is a local folklore that Hanuman had carried sanjeevani for Laxman from here. There were monkeys all around looking sternly at us. We had carried grams to feed them and calm their temper.

... few falls I skied well with the help of the instructor. This was a new experience to share with my friends.
Finally we started back after enjoying this lovely trip. Overall, it was a very amusing trip along with being a reasonable one. All the hotels in Shimla, where we stayed were good properties and that too at very economical rates.
We enjoyed ourselves all throughout the trip.
There are lots of good hotels in Shimla. But one needs to find good hotels for a memorable vacation.
